Sam is a passionate music educator, and believes that everyone should have the tools to be able to compose or teach composition.

He has taught various sessions in schools, covering all aspects of composition and musicianship. He regularly tailors his teaching to what the school or individual needs, and is happy to come up with a bespoke session/sessions for people. His teaching covers a wide range of topics, academic levels, and abilities, and is also not limited to those who can read music. He runs whole class sessions and private 1-to-1 sessions, and has an enhanced DBS certificate.

• Composition for “non-composers”
• Composition lab – going through what your students have already done
